The President met with the honored coach and master of sports in chess, Valentin Sergeyevich Karlinsky, to discuss the development of chess in the country and, symbolically, to play a game. This meeting not only provided an opportunity to address important issues but also demonstrated the head of state’s interest in intellectual sports.
During the game, Karlinsky shared strategies and tactics with the president, explaining various moves and their significance. The President, in turn, asked questions about how chess helps develop logical thinking and creativity among young people.
