THE REPUBLIC OF THE VESTINA
"ON DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP"
This Law regulates the procedure for obtaining, losing and restoring digital citizenship of the Republic of Vestina, as well as defines the rights and obligations of citizens.
CHAPTER 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1. Objectives of digital citizenship
Digital citizenship of the Republic of Vestina is aimed at:

The formation of a single virtual community of citizens based on respect, equality and common goals.;

Creation of a platform for interaction, exchange of experience and joint development.

Ensuring citizens' rights and protection within the digital space of the Republic.

The development of a unique digital culture and identity.
Article 2. Principles of Digital citizenship

Voluntary: citizenship is granted by free will.

Equality: All citizens have equal rights and responsibilities, regardless of their origin, gender, age, nationality and beliefs.

Participation: citizens have the right and opportunity to actively influence the governance of the state and participate in its development.

Transparency: the activities of the Republic's governing bodies are carried out openly and accessible to all citizens.

Data protection: The Republic guarantees the security of citizens' personal data.
Article 3. Status of digital citizenship of the Republic of Vestina

Digital citizenship of the Republic of Vestina has no legal or political force for the current countries.

The citizenship of the Republic of Vestina does not cancel the current citizenship of other countries.
Article 4. Principles of digital citizenship

Digital citizenship is based on the following principles:

Voluntary.

Openness and accessibility.
-
Equality of rights and opportunities.
-
Promotion of active participation in the public life of the Republic.
CHAPTER 2. PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING, LOSS OF CITIZENSHIP AND RESTORATION OF CITIZENSHIP
Article 5. Conditions for acquiring digital citizenship
1. Digital citizenship can be granted to anyone who has reached the age of 18.
To obtain citizenship, you must:
1) Apply through the official website of the Republic of Vestina – presidentvestina.info
2) To agree with the principles and Constitution of the Republic.
2. Citizenship is acquired by issuing a Decree of the President of the Republic of Vestina within 3 (three) days from the date of sending the application on the official website.
Article 6. Loss of citizenship
1. Citizenship may be lost in the following cases:
1) Voluntary renunciation of citizenship.
2) Systematic violation of the principles and laws of the Republic.
2. The decision on the loss of citizenship is made by the President of the Republic with mandatory notification of the citizen.
Article 7. Restoration of citizenship

A person who has lost his citizenship can apply for his restoration.

Restoration of citizenship is possible provided that the causes of loss are eliminated.

CHAPTER 3. THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC TO CONDUCT
Article 8. The rights of citizens of the Republic of Vestina
Citizens have the right to:

Participation in government, including elections and voting.

Access to educational, cultural and social programs of the Republic.

Freedom of expression within the framework of the laws of the Republic.

Protecting their digital identity and data.
Article 9. Duties of citizens of the Republic of Vestina
Citizens are obliged to:

Respect the rights and freedoms of other citizens.

Follow the laws and principles of the Republic.

Actively participate in the life of the community.
Article 10. A document certifying the identity of a citizen
The document certifying the identity of a citizen is a digital passport of a citizen, which is issued within two weeks from the date of issuance of the Presidential Decree on admission to citizenship.
Article 11. Financial basis

The Republic of Vestina does not collect taxes, but accepts voluntary contributions for development.

The funds are directed to the development of digital infrastructure, educational programs and initiatives of citizens.
